Supported formats and limits

Outputs: MP3, WAV (16-bit PCM), M4A (AAC), FLAC (16-bit), Ogg Vorbis and Opus. Common inputs include MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, FLAC, Ogg/Opus, AIFF and WMA. Codec variants, damaged files and protected recordings may fail. Conversion uses a local audio engine rather than relying on your browser’s input codecs. Playback of exported formats still depends on the browser.

Up to 20 files, 100 MB per file and 250 MB combined input. Individual recordings and joined output can be up to 30 minutes. Trimming and splitting work on one recording at a time. Up to 50 split parts. Each output is limited to 128 MB and completed outputs to 250 MB total. Limits are safeguards, not a guarantee that a device can process every accepted file.

Choose mono or stereo, sample rate, bitrate, volume and fade lengths. Opus uses 48 kHz. Fades apply to each exported file, or the beginning and end of the whole joined recording. Boosted volume uses a limiter to reduce clipping. The lightweight waveform preview is mono and is intended for choosing timing; listen to the exported result to check effects and quality.

MP3, AAC, Vorbis and Opus use lossy compression and may add encoder delay or padding. WAV and FLAC avoid additional lossy compression but do not recover lost detail. Sample-rate changes and channel conversion alter the signal. Source tags, cover art and chapters are removed; audible personal information remains. Joining places recordings sequentially, without mixing or crossfading. Surround audio, recording, restoration and DRM removal are not included.

Audio tools download about 31 MB of processing software on first use, then run locally. No recording is uploaded and no microphone permission is requested. Cancel stops the processing worker. Completed batch results remain available if later files fail or you cancel. Download them before changing settings, clearing files or leaving the page.
