Questions and answers

Which image formats can ConvitAll convert between?

Inputs include JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and HEIF, TIFF, AVIF, GIF, BMP, ICO and self-contained SVG. Outputs are JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF and ICO. Any supported input can be saved as any output from the main converter.

Are my images uploaded when I convert them?

No. Decoding and encoding happen inside your browser tab using your device’s processor. The image contents are never sent to a ConvitAll server, which is also why there is no upload progress bar or queue.

What are the batch and file size limits?

Up to 20 images per batch, each up to 100 MB, with 250 MB in total. Originals can be as large as 120 megapixels. Automatic size fits very large pictures within 32 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side for the output.

Is there a cost or an account?

Converting is free and does not require registering or logging in. Results are delivered without a watermark, and you can download each file on its own or the whole batch as a ZIP.
