How to convert SVG to PNG
- Choose your files. Add SVG images. You can select up to 20 files per batch, within the displayed size limits.
- Set the result. PNG is already selected. Adjust dimensions and, for JPG, WebP or AVIF, quality. Check the transparency background where available.
- Convert and download. Download each result or the batch ZIP. Compare file size and appearance before replacing any original.
PNG output: Lossless & transparent. Transparency can be preserved when the source contains it.

Why turn a vector into a PNG
SVG is ideal for logos and icons on websites, but many places will not take it: slide decks, word processors, social networks, marketplaces and most email clients expect a bitmap. A PNG keeps the transparent background around your shapes and opens everywhere, so it is the standard way to hand vector artwork to people and platforms that cannot handle SVG.
Which SVG files are accepted
For safety, ConvitAll only renders static, self-contained SVG. Files with scripts, style sheets or inline style attributes, embedded or linked images, external references, filters or animation are rejected. Shapes, paths, gradients, clip paths, masks and basic text are fine. If your design app offers an option to export a plain or optimized SVG with styles converted to attributes, use it. Text relies on fonts already on your device, so converting text to outlines before export gives the most predictable result.
Getting the pixel size you want
An SVG has no fixed pixel count, so the PNG size comes from the file's own width and height attributes, or from its viewBox when those are missing. A file without either is treated as 300 × 150. The converter never enlarges beyond that declared size, so if you need a 2,000-pixel PNG, set width and height to 2,000 in your editor before exporting the SVG. You can always choose a smaller longest side here.
Alternatives on your own computer
Most vector editors, including the free Inkscape, export PNG directly at any size you specify, which is the best option when you have the source project. Taking a screenshot of an SVG open in a browser also works in a pinch, but it loses transparency and is limited to your screen resolution.
How the conversion runs
ConvitAll checks the SVG markup in your browser, renders the allowed elements onto a transparent canvas and saves the result as PNG. Nothing is sent to a server. Batches of up to 20 SVGs are supported, with a ZIP download at the end.
Questions and answers
Why was my SVG rejected?
The file probably contains something outside the safe static subset: a script, a style element or style attribute, an embedded or linked image, a filter, animation or an external reference. Export a plain, self-contained SVG from your design tool, ideally with text converted to outlines, and try again.
How do I make a larger PNG from my SVG?
The output uses the width and height declared in the SVG, or its viewBox, and is never enlarged. Change those dimensions in your editor, for example to 1,024 × 1,024, export the SVG again and convert it. Smaller sizes can be chosen in the converter.
Is the PNG background transparent?
Yes. Anything your SVG does not paint stays transparent in the PNG. If you want a solid background instead, add a full-size rectangle behind your artwork in the SVG, or convert to JPG and choose a background color.
Can I convert a PNG back into an SVG?
Not with this tool. Turning pixels into editable vector paths needs a tracing tool, and the result depends heavily on the image. ConvitAll converts SVG to bitmap formats only; it does not trace bitmaps into vectors.
